Pregnant women  shall be accepted for carriage by air only upon a presentation of a certificate of health.

Pregnant women may fly, provided the carriage is performed not later than 4 weeks before the expected childbirth time and unless there is any danger of a premature birth. In case of expecting the twins provided the carriage is performed not later than 6 weeks before the expected childbirth time.

A certificate of health must be issued within 7 days before the start of the journey. The certificate shall be issued by the attending physician of the passenger. 

Carriage by air is not recommended to

• women during the last month of pregnancy and during 7 days after the delivery;
• newborn babies during 7 days after birth.

For the carriage of babies born earlier than established time, a certificate of health is required, and such newborn babies shall be included in the MEDA category. 

Carriage of a pregnant woman will be performed, provided «Rossiya airlines» OJSC bears no liability whatsoever to the pregnant woman for any consequences, ill effects during or after transportation including a premature birth.
